1) The process that forms oil requires a lot of time . How long ago did the oil we extract today start forming?
The oil that we used today , start forming 2000 millions of years ago.
2) What was the earth like at this time ?
The earth about 2000 millions of years ago , was a "Pangea" , so continents didn't exist at all , and the seas were really big .
3) We call it now , but what was the slimy black stuff before it became oil?
It was algae who died and sunk to the bottom of the ocean making a layer of died organic organisms. And by no oxygen they wasn't able to descompose , so this make the oil.
4)The video list several process or conditions required to change your answer to question 3 into oil . I can think or five - can you get them all?
1) Plants , algae and photosyntetic animals died and sunk to the bottom of the ocean.
2) Mud cover all these dead organic organisms by years creating a capping stone.
3) By this process there's an Anexic Enviroment , which means there is no oxygen there.
4) By this no oxygen enviroment , the capping stone , create a heat between 60 and 120 celsius.
5) By too many years after that , crude oil is created.
5)Besides oil , what other fossil fuel can be formed by this process with only one minor variation ?
With just a difference of temperature natural gas can be created by this same process.

Bonus : But wait , we call oil a non-renewable resource . If we can just make more oil by this process , why we call it non-renewable?
In my opinion , I think it won't be a non-renewable resorce , because by definiton this is a process that need human help to be renew , so then if we made more the right definition will be "Renewable".
